It’s a sure shot solution for all diseases, wishes and problems
(This article is English version of previously published Hindi language article titled – सभी बिमारियों, सभी मनोकामनाओं व सभी समस्याओं का निश्चित उपाय है ये which was published on 19th January 2018 on “Svyam Bane Gopal” Group’s website)-
This article is presented mainly for the seekers who wish to achieve quick success in Bhakti Yoga.
The first thing that needs to understand here, that even though a person starts with any particular Yoga, however, gradually by natural inspiration, he starts adopting the other three Yoga as well, and of which a very good example was revered saint Ramakrishna Paramhans.
Though saint Ramakrishna Paramhans had started with Bhakti Yoga but later he had started doing practice of Raj Yoga, Hath Yoga and Karma Yoga too. Let us know how he did it-
Saint Ramakrishna Paramhans was different from the common boys since childhood and he used to take great pleasure in worshiping Goddess Mother Kali, due to which he used to chant “mother-mother” day and night. So this was the time of his initial Bhakti Yoga.
After some time saint Ramakrishna had started getting so lost in worshiping that often he used to put those flowers on himself, which were offered to Mother Goddess Kali. He used to do this because often he felt Mother Goddess Kali within himself. Having such a lively feeling was his Raj Yoga.
Here the readers need to understand that the activities of Dharana (strong assumption/belief) and Dhyan (meditation) are there in Hath Yoga as well, however, these are the only activities in Raj Yoga whereas in Hath Yoga, one has to do/complete the activities of Yam, Niyam (rules & disciplines), Asan (Yoga pose practice), Pranayam (breathing exercise), Pratyahar (abstaining) etc. before reaching the activities of Dharana (strong assumption/belief) and Dhyan (meditation).
To put it simply, Hath yoga (which some people also call Ashtang yoga) is that in which a person, no matter how fickle, disobedient minded, can reach the final stage of Samadhi (ultimate unification with God through meditation) by forcefully (i.e. stubbornly) controlling his mind with the help of eight difficult procedures, whereas in Raj Yoga, effort is made to control the mind directly without resorting to any other action. That’s why it’s not everyone’s cup of tea to start doing Raj Yoga. Raj Yoga can be started successfully only by seeker whose mind has attained a minimum level of purity beforehand because if the mind does not have a certain level of sacredness, then a person may stop practicing Raj Yoga after a few days.
You must have seen the word “Rishi – Muni” (sages) written on many pages in the Puranas (ancient Indian holy books), actually those “Munis” were the ones who were Raj Yogis because they always used to do “Manan” (contemplate), that’s why they were called Muni.
Later on, saint Ramakrishna started attaining Bhav Samadhi (unification with god through thoughts) as well, which was the last stage of both Hath Yoga and Raj Yoga, that is, just before Nirvikalp Samadhi (thoughtless samadhi). At the end of his life he had also tasted the greatest pleasure of Nirvikalpa Samadhi.
Saint Ramakrishna kept working very hard even till the last stage of his life and used to quench the thirst for knowledge about topics related to God, of every seeker who came to him, and Saint Ramakrishna also used to donate to the poor.
Saint Ramakrishna already had a Darshan (greatest opportunity of watching God live) of Mother Goddess Kali long time back and enough money was also collected daily in the temple for his own survival, so if seen from the common worldly point of view, then there was no need for him to leave such pleasurable process like continuous meditation of God and spend hours every day to arrange food, clothing for the hungry poor people but in spite of this, he carried out this moral duty as well till his last stage and this is what is called the most sacred Karm Yoga.
In contemporary society of saint Ramkrishna Paramhans, his childhood education was in a spiritual environment and his initial job was also as a priest of the temple, so the above mentioned Karma Yoga performed by him was definitely a great contribution to the society of that time which was appreciable and justified.
However, the definition of Karma Yoga is also different for different people according to the time & situation, such as in today’s time, the soldier who is protecting the country with utmost vigilance, the student who is studying education with full dedication, the householder couple who are earning a living with complete honesty, the house wife who is taking care of everyone with utmost care, etc., these all are doing the Karma Yoga itself (as long as there is honesty and truthfulness in their deeds).
In the Puranas (ancient Indian religious books), one name of God is written as Yoga, (therefore it is said in the scriptures that this world is completely Yogic) and this Yoga is mainly divided into four branches so that people with different temperaments can choose the unique method of yoga which suits their nature.
The names of the four main branches into which Yoga is divided are Hath Yoga, Raj Yoga, Bhakti Yoga and Karma Yoga. Apart from these main Yoga, there are names of other yoga which are also heard frequently, such as – Jap Yoga, Dhyan Yoga, Kirtan Yoga, Bhajan Yoga, Soham Yoga, Swara Yoga, Tantra Yoga, Kriya Yoga, Naad Yoga, Sahaja Yoga, Seva Yoga etc. In fact, these all sub-categories of Yoga are also under the four main Yoga mentioned above, which were given different names later on by people as per their convenience.
For example, Tantra Yoga comes under Bhakti Yoga itself because unless there is a devotion towards one’s deity, there can be no success achieved in the ritualistic process of any Tantra (but yes, it is definite that in Bhakti i.e. in any devotion, even if there is no ritual at all, still one gets success). Similarly, Swar Yoga, Soham Yoga & Sahaj Yoga are the practices of Raj Yoga, while Naad Yoga & Dhyan Yoga (meditation) are the practices of Hatha Yoga. Jap Yoga (chanting of God’s Mantra), Kirtan & Bhajan Yoga (praising the God in song) are the practices of Bhakti Yoga while Kriya Yoga and Seva Yoga (service) is considered to be under the Karma Yoga.
So today we are talking about such kind of a remedy of Bhakti Yoga, which has been known to us due to the most merciful grace of the most revered saint society that by practicing this remedy for a long time, not only all kinds of diseases and all problems (like – Fake lawsuit, poverty, debt, accident, humiliation, tyranny of the wicked, any kind of physical disability, quarrels within the family, physical ugliness or any other problem, sorrow or trouble) have a definite solution but rather every righteous wish also definitely gets fulfilled at the right time. If one continues to do this without losing patience then eventually he also gets the great fortune of direct watching of the infinite universe creator (ruling goddess) Mahamaya Jagadamba Saraswatee.
Before knowing this, it is important to know what is Bhakti ? The simplest definition of Bhakti is attachment to God. Till the time, attachment i.e. affection is towards worldly things or relationships, it remains fruitless but when this attachment is for God, then it becomes the source of great miraculous results.
As great saint Goswami Tulsidas ji has said for the seekers of Bhakti Yoga,– “Kaliyug Keval Naam Adhara, Sumiri Sumiri Nar Uttarhin Para”, which means that there is no need to get tangled in any difficult ritual in this Kaliyuga because all the benefits obtained by practicing difficult ritualistic worship can easily be obtained by simply chanting the name of the God and the most important thing in chanting the name is, that God’s name can be chanted easily anytime, anywhere (even in the toilet) and there is no harm rather only benefits, whereas there is a possibility of being harmed instead of benefitting if the ritualistic worship which is performed with the complex Sanskrit mantras of the God, is done with improper pronunciation or in an impure place.
These three names of Mother Goddess Saraswatee are given in the scripture “Saraswatee Sahastranam Stotra”. These three names are certainly supremely divine because there is no such righteous desire in the world which cannot be fulfilled by chanting them regularly for a long time !
Chant these three names in this way – “Jai Maa Saraswatee Jitendriyaa Anantaa” (which means- greeting to Goddess mother’s 3 incarnation- Saraswatee, Jitendriyaa and Anantaa).
Let us tell you the brief introduction and benefits of these names as conveyed by the most revered saints-
“Anantaa” among these names has been said to be the provider of the greatest cure of all kinds of diseases because Anantaa means the infinite number of forms of the Goddess Saraswatee which exist in the infinite number of universes (created by the Goddess Saraswatee).
Therefore, when a woman/man chants the “Ananta” name of Goddess Saraswatee repeatedly for a long time, then Goddess Saraswatee’s grace is invoked & realized in every particle of the infinite universe, due to which gradually nothing can be harmful, detrimental or lethal in any way for that woman/man because of the manifestation of Goddess blessings in every particle, everything turns out to be extremely beneficial for them. Even a severe poison becomes beneficial like a nectar by regular chanting for many years.
Any disease to any person is caused by some or the other germ but by chanting the name “Ananta” for a long time, all kinds of germs (even though they may be deadly diseases like AIDS or cancer) in the body also gradually get forced to leave their harmful tendencies !
The most respected sages have even said that the seeds of destiny present in the Karmashay (organ of cosmic human body which stores all information related all births’ karma) of the body, that is, the real cause due to which there may be disability or premature old age or any kind of physical deformity (whether the ugliness is hereditary or whether occurred due to an accident or a disease) causing an inferiority complex in a human being, these can also be completely neutralized by the extreme divine power of Goddess mother Saraswatee resulting from years of chanting, thereby making the impossible seeming hypothesis of attaining a hundred percent disease-free eternally beautiful body, definitely possible.
It is a very simple principle that when the manifestation of the grace of G0ddess Mahamaya Saraswatee increases in every particle of the human body, then surely the body will become more radiant, vivacious, powerful and beautiful every day !
In fact, nothing remains harmful for this kind of a body. You must have read the incident in the Puranas when even if a man-eating hungry lion reaches a sage, it leaves its dangerous nature and immediately becomes tamed like a cow because as long as that lion stays with the sage, it is no longer the old lion it used to be rather the godliness part in the lion increases greatly due to the continuous radiance of divine austerity emanating from the body of the sage. Therefore it has also been said in the Puranas that the meeting a true saint is a great fortune because as soon as one reaches near the true saint, due to the power of saint penance, godliness starts manifesting. For example, even the most terrible sinners dacoit Angulimal (who had mercilessly killed hundreds of people) as soon as reached near saint Gautam Buddha, his heart also started changing rapidly.
Even the bad destiny, which is repeatedly becoming a hindrance in the fulfillment of any righteous wish, gradually becomes completely balanced out by the long practice of chanting this name, due to which that wish gets fulfilled easily even with a little action.
It is very necessary to chant the name “Jitendriyaa”, so that chanting of the name “Anantaa” can be done successfully for a long time. It is certain that chanting the name “Anantaa” gives infinite benefits but the journey to get these benefits may seem very long for those who do not have patience. Chanting the name “Jitendriyaa” is very necessary to attain the siddhi (highest form of expertise on a mantra) with perfection for chanting these names, which give the power to fight against all kinds of internal and external obstacles. By chanting the name “Jitendriyaa”, even the worst sinner man definitely becomes completely hardworking, honest and truthful. In order to get the full grace of the Goddess, it is necessary that one’s inner being should be cleaned & sacred, that is also why chanting the name “Jitendriya” is essential.
The name “Saraswatee” is the real basis & power behind the names “Anantaa and Jitendriyaa”, so it is highly necessary to chant this name at the beginning.
Therefore, proper name sequence for chanting is in this way – “Jai Maa Saraswatee Jitendriyaa Anantaa”
These names can be chanted whenever and as much as you want. It is certain and proven that from the very first day one starts getting some or the other benefit from the very first day of chanting with full faith.
If the child does not like studying or if he finds the studies very difficult or does not understand at all, then chanting these names definitely gives miraculous benefits. The intellect of those who do it daily definitely becomes very sharp minded and the ability to speak effectively also develops amazingly, so that even the most difficult exams, interviews etc. can be passed easily.
Till date, no effective medicine has been made to cure the habit of stammering (i.e. speaking intermittently) but chanting of these names gives a definite cure for stammering as well. By the grace of Mother Goddess Saraswatee, a person speaks in such a pure and clear voice which is pleasant to hear for other people.
If any one person or all of them in the house are of a quarrelsome nature or someone has any bad habit (like habit of lying, habit of stealing, habit of consuming liquor, cigarette, tobacco, heroin etc.) or someone has any difficult disease, still chanting of these names gives amazing benefits.
Apart from this, any kind of mental diseases and problems (such as insanity, psycho-eccentric nature, forgetfulness, feeling afraid in the dark or ghosts, illusions, Or feeling tense, irritated, angry, etc. on trivial reasons) also get treated.
One can chant these names for the benefit of other person as well, such as- someone’s son has become wicked or wife is lazy & of quarrelsome nature, or husband is an adulterous drunkard Or someone’s acquaintance is sick or a righteous wish of an acquaintance needs to be fulfilled then for those as well, one of their well wishers can also do this chanting of three names of the Goddess. To do this, just before starting the chanting, pray to Goddess Saraswatee that I am going to chant these three names to improve the nature or health or problem of that particular man/woman or to fulfill her/her righteous wish, please bless to make it a success.
No rosary is required to chant these three names of Goddess. These names can be chanted anytime, anywhere i.e. can be done while watching television, traveling on the bus, working in the kitchen, having lunch in the office, walking on the street as well.
For a few days in the beginning, chant by speaking (by pronouncing) so that you get used to the correct pronunciation, then after that chant in your mind. In comparison to speaking through the mouth, chanting in the mind gives more benefit but it is advisable to pronounce with the mouth for a few days in the beginning so that the habit of pronouncing correctly is formed nicely. One gets full benefit only when the pronunciation is pure, so wrong chanting should not be done in the wake of chanting too much or in the process of chanting too quickly.
Note– Though the chanting of these three great names of Mother Goddess Saraswatee is completely dependent on your own convenience, means you can chant these three names whenever and as much as you want, however, despite this, many devotees often want to know at what time and how many times they should chant these names.
So it is suggested to such readers that the best way to chant these three names is to do it at least 108 times in the morning and 108 times at night while sleeping.
If the morning chanting is done on the bed as soon as you wake up from the bed, then it is best because by doing this, a strong invisible protective circle of Mother Goddess Saraswatee’s blessings will remain around you throughout the day, which will always protect you from all problems and troubles unless you don’t do any blunder intentionally.
Chanting at night should be done just before going to bed. If you have more time then you can increase this chanting number by more than 108 times because doing more gives more benefit (there is also a proverb in Sanskrit – “Adhikasya Adhikam Falam” means more work gives more benefit).
Here it is to be understood very carefully that if a person does this chanting, then it is certain that gradually all kinds of sorrows will end from his life {although in between, Mother Goddess Saraswatee may examine (test) with some very difficult situations (like any serious social problem, financial crisis, etc.) but one should not stop chanting out of fear of them because sooner or later all sorrow will end and great happiness will be definitely attained} however if it is someone who doesn’t like this change (i.e. ending of all sorrows) then it is that man’s own bad luck.
Apart from this, there is also an important thing to know that if a householder who ignores his essential Karma Yoga (like job, business, education, proper care of family, etc.) for doing only Bhakti Yoga (i.e. chanting the name of Goddess) then he does not get any specific benefit from it because Goddess gives the benefits of any spiritual process only when it is done in the right way.
The right way to do this chanting is that the householder should only do Bhakti Yoga in whatever time is left after performing his daily Karma Yoga honestly.
Even though after performing Karma Yoga, very little time is left daily for Bhakti Yoga, however, in that short span of time the worship performed by a householder is as fruitful as many hours of worship performed by a saint !
